In Memoriam
Ryan Murdoch
Ryan was a beloved member of HUBS, serving as our Collaborations Director in 2024 and as an active member of our organization throughout his time at Harvard. He consistently brought keen insight, a sharp sense of humor, and a depth of kindness to all of HUBS’ endeavors, and became an integral part of our work during his time here. In addition to HUBS, Ryan was pursuing a double concentration in Earth and Planetary Sciences and Economics while also serving on the board of the Undergraduate Disability Club, writing for the Harvard International Review, and participating in the Harvard Urban Sustainability Lab. In the fall of his senior year, Ryan tragically passed away following a brief illness. HUBS is indebted to Ryan for his dedication to our organization and our mission and remembers with gratitude the example of his steady and kind leadership. A fuller commemoration of Ryan’s kind example may be found here.
