What does bipartisanship look like in an election year?

The 2020 General Election gave HUBS an unprecedented opportunity to integrate, inform, and promulgate practical and honest solutions to problems facing several states in the union! Despite being relegated to a virtual format on account of the pandemic, we took the opportunity to capitalize on social media and the growing culture of online education.

Our members researched more than a dozen ballot initiatives from states throughout the country. After familiarizing ourselves with the context, content, and consequences of each referendum, small groups voted internally to determine a HUBS recommendation (either Yes or No), then worked to develop deliverable graphics to post and circulate online.
